Could your shoes be causing premature aging? Studies from chiropractor Dr. James Stoxen DC, reveals confining shoes could be the cause of degenerative diseases. Find out how this is possible and what necessary preventive measures you should be taking.

Ever considered ditching your running shoes, orthotics and arch support allowing your feet go au-natural? No? Initially this query may sound odd but Dr. James Stoxen may soon provide cause for consideration. With 25 years experience in his field, Dr. Stoxen has released beneficial information regarding what is known as the “Barefoot Theory”

In a sentence the “Barefoot Theory” refers to the possibility that certain shoes and support impede and damage our bodies natural spring system which protects our joints from collisions, effectively causing premature aging and a range of preventable diseases. If aging sooner than necessary due to your footwear selection doesn’t sound enjoyable than it may be feasible to continue reading (and if it does then it should perhaps be wise to reconsider your ideas of amusement!)

Before you question the plausibility of such a claim let the credentials of Dr. Stoxen impress you; owning Team Doctors Chiropractic Treatment And Training Center, lecturing at multiple prestigious conferences and being inducted into the National Fitness Hall Of Fame are just the academic evidence to Dr. Stoxen’s career.

Most recently “celebrity chiropractor to the stars” has been Stoxen’s tagline having not only worked with Australian Wiggles founder, Anthony Field, but also worked on many tours including the Aerosmith/Motley Crue tour, the Marilyn Manson tour, and the Justin Timberlake tour ( this makes Dr. Stoxen incredibly awesome and intellectually reliable, not a bad combination).

Now it is time to learn what these sly celebs to have kept quiet, in the words of Anthony Field, “it’s time to let the cat out of the bag” so let’s reveal this secret theory.

Understanding The Barefoot Theory

Lets begin with the human spring mechanism that is classified as the body’s natural shock absorber, the absorbing collision impact (or steps) through the arch of the foot allowing the 33 joints to spread the force of the landing thus effectively protecting the skeleton from stress, immediate and consequent damage. The barefoot theory then is simply this, that through confining footwear and artificial arch support we are actually rescinding our body’s natural ability to protect itself in causing injury in the process.

Therefore the reasonable conclusion is the benefits of barefoot. Dr Stoxen expands on this through the barefoot to bed ridden theory. In a recent interview with our Publisher, Dr. Stoxen explained that man-made support systems lead to the premature reliance on further supports; orthotics/arch lift leads to Canaan, leads to walk her leaves to wheel chair leads to bed ridden. Gasp! Before a panic ensues and you’re deemed “ that crazy bloke who stopped wearing shoes to work” you should understand the trigger, and that gentleman–is having inferior spring strength.

A healthy spring mechanism has the ability to recycle more natural energy which is then used to sustain the effort used when walking and running. A spring mechanism that has been assisted through the artificial aid does not have this natural ability and therefore cannot effectively recycle energy or adequately protect the skeleton. If you have somewhat made sense of the words that initially sound like jargon than you can now proceed to understand how to avoid such aid decrepit future.

You will have 250 million collisions in her lifetime:

  • That’s 10,000 steps a day or 3.65 million per year
  • Wearing the wrong pair of shoes for three months can burn a memory leading to a lifetime of abnormal movement.
  • The core of health is in the feet as they have the ability to reset the body from the ground up.
  • Even people in their 20s and 30s should have their gait pattern ( the way the foot strikes the ground during walking or running) evaluated to examine signs of premature aging.

Evidently we take a lot of steps throughout our lives and by wearing confining shoes where restricting the optimum health and possibly inflicting abnormal movement memories. Not awesome. In the words of Dr. Stoxen, “by binding the feet with footwear we are accelerating the aging process by compromising the feeds natural sustainability which is the human spring.

So the question is how does knowing this help you question easy! You can work to strengthen your spring mechanism with plyometrics. This will be achieved through cardiovascular activities such as running and walking which even alone have substantial health benefits like lowering risk of heart disease by 50%, delaying Alzheimer’s, increasing your quality of life place 16 years and experiencing a constant release of endorphins.

Combine this with the benefits of a healthy spring mechanism, achieved through resistance training, jumps and hops meaning you’ll successfully avoid 90% of degenerative diseases, evade hip and knee replacement, reduce bodily pain and inflammation and develop better standard of endurance and skeletal protection–bionic health!

The superhero version of you also requires giving arch lives and confining shoes the old heave-ho and participating in barefoot running. ( if you have visions of glass shards and other sharp objects lodged in your foot then try a treadmill or large grassy area) Dr Stoxen ( who regularly competes in barefoot races) dismisses sports shoe manufacturers who claim that shock absorbers are necessary to protect us from impacts as his studies have proved them to be untrue ( so don’t fret over curious glances, be comforted in the knowledge you are not crazy but certainly preventing premature aging). It is recommended also by Dr.Stoxen that you test your spring strength by doing exactly that and run barefoot.

A struggle to achieve this task is classified as premature aging and certain indication of weak spring step and lock spring mechanism. This explanation is derived from logic, if we are able to run barefoot as children without competitions then so should we be able to run barefoot as adults without distress. The feet are where the foundation of health is located says Dr. Stoxen who by this rationale maintains that the human body can be entirely restored and repaired beginning from the feet up.

From these important points is logical to conclude that possessing a healthy and well functioning spring mechanism is wholly beneficial to the human body. Anthony Field is a prime example of how one can benefit from the research of Dr. Stoxen.

How I Got My Wiggle Back

If you have children ( or if you’re just anyone, living anywhere) then you will have heard of the Wiggles. Anthony Field is the cofounder and star of the children’s entertainment group (recognized as the blue Wiggle) and successful example of Dr. Stoxen’s human spring theory.

Here we learn more from the wiggles than hot potatoes. After suffering from depression for two years combined with chronic joint pain, fatigue and pain killer dependence it is fair to say that Field was at the end of his tether. However like a chiropractor in shining armor doctor Stoxen, came to the rescue.

20 hours of intense physical therapy was conducted (nicknamed the “pain exorcism” by Field) whereby his body went through the process of renewal and strengthening, mending the chronic pain in the joints and abolishing medical dependence.

To save finding successful treatment was a relief would it be a large understatement as field credits the work of Dr. Stockton for his recovery and improve mental state; the blue Wiggle says chiropractic-ally, not only guided me to great health but quite possibly save my life”

In the mirror first four hours of initial treatment Field commented that his back pain had vanished and now eight years later maintains a life which is virtually pain-free (not bad for a man who was on the verge of knee replacement in considering retirement for the Wiggles due to his inability to maintain the work demands as a result of his condition)

Dr. Stoxen believes that feels overall deteriorating health was caused by a severe body inflammation from stiff joints, instigated of course by anon healthy natural spring mechanism. After having attempted multiple unsuccessful forms of therapies and medication, Anthony Field is now a strong advocate for the barefoot theory having followed this philosophy for close to a decade and reaping the health benefits as a result, (can now cycle 25 km void of pain)

“How I Got My Wiggle Back” is Field’s new book which is based upon an inspired by his personal journey recovering his human spring mechanism, “I didn’t plan to be an advocate but the fact that I’m still alive and kicking is a testimonial to the fact that there are solutions, there is a better way”

From the work of Dr. Stoxen we can better understand the body’s amazing ability to protect and heal itself, also bearing in mind the consequences of wearing shock of the disorders that will implement traumatic future degenerative disease and immediate damage ( can you really doubt a man who is brave enough to examine the feet of Anthony Field and who spent 25 academic years proving his theory)

Although the solution may seem a tough quirky, it is surely better to be seen running caveman style and the optimum health than fiddling your thumbs in a wheelchair 16 years too early. Hopefully it will be something we will all stop to think about the next time we experience and aching body part or find ourselves shopping for new gym shoes–surely no one wants their regret as an 80-year-old to be that they shouldn’t have worn shoes so often.
