On November 5th, 2015, Dr Stoxen was honored with the honorary fellowship by a member of the royal family, the Sultan of Pahang, at the opening ceremonies of the World Congress of Sports and Exercise Medicine in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.
In 2014, Dr Stoxen was invited to speak at the World Congress of Sports and Exercise Science in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, 2014. With nearly 100 both International and local leaders from over 30 countries, were fielded as speakers for the congress this was a unique opportunity for global sport and exercise medicine community to be introduced to the new Integrated Spring-Mass Model of biomechanics I developed.
In this lecture, he presented strong scientific proof that the current model that explains how the body moves and what all the standard of care treatment approaches are, currently do not abide by the laws of physics and nature. In a sense, I presented proof that, using the current standard of care approach that was based on these lever series models that it is impossible to get complete restoration of the human body, because they are based on flawed models.
He did not know how this conference full of medical doctors would react. He just presented his research that stated that that the models that shape the way doctors have been examining and treating patients for 340 years does not abide by the laws of physics.
The accreditation committee recommended I receive the conferment of Honorary Fellowship to the President for implementation.in the fall of 2015 for my distinguished research and contributions to the advancement of sports and exercise medicine on an international or national level.
That day he lectured to the audience of doctors from 35 countries. All doctors got 30 minutes to give their presentation. The organizing committee gave me a full hour to present my . The topic of his lecture and workshop was “The Integrated Spring-Mass Approach to the Treatment of Thoracic Outlet Syndrome.”
