
Dr James Stoxen, D.C., FSSEMM (Hon) has been presented with an honorary fellowship award by a member of the royal family, the Sultan of Pahang at the opening ceremonies of the World Congress of Sports and Exercise Medicine in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia
On November 5th, 2015, Dr James Stoxen, D.C., FSSEMM (Hon), was presented with an honorary fellowship award by Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Abu Bakar Riayatuddin Al-Mu’adzam Shah, the Sultan of Pahang, at the opening ceremonies of the World Congress of Sports and Exercise Medicine in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
He was presented this honorary fellowship award because of his distinguished research and contributions to the advancement of Sports and Exercise Medicine on an International level.
In 2014, Dr Stoxen was invited to speak at the World Congress of Sports and Exercise Science in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, 2014. With nearly 100 both International and local leaders from over 30 countries, were fielded as speakers for the congress this was a unique opportunity for global sport and exercise medicine community to be introduced to the new Integrated Spring-Mass Model of biomechanics he developed.
In this lecture, he presented strong scientific proof that the current model that explains how the body moves and what all the standard of care treatment approaches are, currently do not abide by the laws of physics and nature. In a sense, I presented proof that, using the current standard of care approach that was based on these lever series models that it is impossible to get complete restoration of the human body, because they are based on flawed models.
The accreditation committee recommended he receive the conferment of Honorary Fellowship to the President for implementation.in the fall of 2015 for my distinguished research and contributions to the advancement of sports and exercise medicine on an international level.
